Hey, I’m Gem — open-hearted, wild at soul, and a visual storyteller. I’m drawn to the beauty of raw connection, honest emotion, natural movement, and the way light wraps around it all. I want to get to know your story and create timeless images of you living and loving in the moment — memories you can feel for years to come.
When I say I pour my whole heart into photographing your love, I mean every word.
I first picked up a camera to capture my son — I couldn’t bear to let the little moments slip away
And so, Hiraeth Photography was born — inspired by a deep longing for connection, adventure, and the beauty of the everyday. I’ve travelled across the world chasing stories, but it’s in the quiet corners of North Wales, exploring hidden gems in our camper van, where I feel most at home.
I love to live slowly and intentionally — recently learning to make my own sourdough, pottering around my home to the sounds of Smooth FM, and diving into wild waters across Eryri/Snowdonia. I’m also a yoga teacher, which naturally wove its way into my work through wellbeing sector photography. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me with my nose in a book (or surrounded by more than I can ever hope to finish!).
